An Integrated Club

The Ladies and Gentlemen’s sections are fully integrated, with all members treated equally in all respects (membership fees, use of all facilities, etc.), and we have a longstanding tradition of Mixed Competitions. The East Renfrewshire Golf Club also boasts a thriving juniors section.

Quality and Reputation of the Course

The course designed by James Braid is one of the best examples of his work in the UK and Ireland. It is today recognised as one of the finest moorland courses in Scotland and the top ranked golf course in the Glasgow and surrounding area. With its rolling fairways, loch and burns, and spectacular views over Glasgow and beyond, the course is stunning and a fair test for golfers of all abilities.

Friendly Membership

New members comment on the warm welcome they receive and there are a number of regular games available which ensure that a newcomer can turn up and get a game with other members. Regular social occasions also assist new members getting to know other members.

The Clubhouse

During the summer months a popular post-round location is the patio. With magnificent views of the 1st and 18th Holes this is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink or bar snack whilst reflecting the experience of your round.

There is a large lounge and dining room adjoining the main bar, and a choice of 3 flat-screen TV’s, where members and visitors can enjoy a quiet chat with a wide choice of refreshments, light snacks and main meals.

For special meetings, we can make available a private function room, which doubles as the Dining Room.

The Clubhouse boasts excellent facilities and provides full independent wheelchair access, for our disabled visitors to the Clubhouse, bar and function room.
